Callaway County Release Meanings

Missouri Law on Release Records
Missouri Chapter 610 is the Sunshine Law. Section 610.100 defines an arrest report to include the arrest, detention or confinement incident, and charge. The sheriff states that no municipality in Callaway County operates a city jail. Fulton, Auxvasse, Holts Summit, and New Bloomfield arrests that lead to detention flow through the county intake rather than separate city rosters. Callaway County Release Facilities
The Callaway County Jail is the local intake and the source of the 48-hour released view. Its newer jail opened in February 2023 with approximate capacity of 175. Nearby FRDC belongs to MODOC and serves mainly as a diagnostic and transfer entry point, so a departure from FRDC often means movement inside the state system.
